PHIL ROYER

Treasurer

Phil lives in Aberdeen with his wife and four daughters. After retiring from the Army in 2023 following 26 years of service, he continued working at Fort Bragg as a contract physical therapist. His family joined SPYRC after his daughter Olivia began playing with the Harlequins in 2022. Phil serves as treasurer with a commitment to helping the club remain healthy and sustainable for the families it serves.

EMILY SPIVEY

Communications Manager

Emily is a North Carolina native, military spouse, and mother of four. She was introduced to rugby in 2013 while her husband, Seth, played for the USMC team at Quantico. Her family joined SPYRC in 2021, and she now helps tell the club’s story through photography, social media, and family communication.
