COACH AND VOLUNTEER STANDARDS

SPYRC coaches and volunteers must complete required background screening, SafeSport training, and concussion-protocol education. Head coaches must also obtain the applicable USA Rugby Level 1 coaching certification.

These requirements help ensure that every athlete is supported by adults who understand both the game and their responsibility to provide a safe, respectful youth-sports environment.

VOLUNTEER WITH SPYRC

The club continually needs coaches, team support, event assistance, field setup, fundraising help, communications support, and other volunteers. Rugby experience is helpful for some positions but is not required for every role.

To learn where help is currently needed, contact info@southernpinesyouthrugby.com or speak with a coach or club leader.
